1.You run a 380 on your jet from home on your days off
2.You use a bucket and mop to clean the top of your jet
3.You keep on working even with QA around
4. You cycle flight controls during your one minute motor
5. Anymore?

When you have seen a million take off and land but still watch in awe from the smoke pit.....
When constantly go through the "hidden" TO's learning about systems and various jobs that aren't yours.....
When you polish everything you can possible think of, Turkey feathers, JFS door, wedding band, static dis chargers and static discharger mounts, pitot tube, ect....
When you put febreez in your cockpit....
When you spend hours researching tactics so when your pilot says I will be flying red air, me and my wingman plan to use a grinder maneuver, you know exactly what he is referring to....

When you name your jet (90-0707 Charlene Laughing )
You buy aviation magazines to see if your jet is in it
Look at aviation sites to see if your jet is in it
If jet is in either one of the two you can't wait to show everybody
You buy flight sims just to "play as your jet"
You get a tatoo of your jet's number on your forearm (happened to a buddy of mine never get tatoos after you down a 20 pack to yourself)

HERESY!!! Its all good I was really gun ho to the whole Crew Chief job until it came time to be forced to wash my jet (lubing is quite easily the worst part of the job)

Thats another reason to buy more Raptors theres only 56 lube points on the whole thing and the best part is there all easy to get to a lube job on an F-22 takes less than 10 minutes while a (real) lube job on an F-16 can take damn near over 45 minutes including taking apart the actuator(i think it was in the nose gear its been so long) and lubing that too.

The thing I really hated about lubes was the plugged HP fittings that would blast you in the face when you pulled the tip back.
