I was so I bored, I let my youngest girl cut my hair for the summer (real short for me) and decided to clean and shine the Beemer until the next rain storm hits tonight, tomorrow or when ever...amazing, quite the start to summer we are having in Utah - nothing but RAIN and WIND lately, I think I need to have a few beers now - see ya

Oh - the weather cleared up (the sun came out for the last photo)..it was nice to see the sun again, even if it was short lived.

What do some of you folks do when your bored?

Nice looking car. How old is it? Oh, and cool shades. Blue lens always looks cool!

Very nice car Meathook! A couple of months ago, I knew we'd be off for a few days in Ramstein, so a couple of us rented a 5 Series, and drove to Luxembourg and Normandy. That was a fun car (especially on the Kaiserslautern Autobahn), and a good trip.

TC - that is the only way to drive a Beemer (Autoban)...I picked her up in Germany and helped break her in on that system myself...I am glad you got to drive that 5 series, she screams huh. I love it, I have to tell myself to chill or my wife does (she hates to go fast). You should have heard her yell in my 911, I would be doing 119 or 115 and she would not know it until we passed trees or another car, then she would realize I was really "booken" and tell me to slow down...woman huh.

I love speed, glad you enjoyed your ride too

Thanks

I agree. That kind of driving is exactly what the BMW was built for. Lucky for me, I was one of the only ones in my group who knew how to drive a manual.

Fun road trip. That car was a rocket ship!

Roger that, the song "Rocketman" comes to mind driving that puppy - glad you enjoyed it, perfect backdrop for such events - German = Autoban = smiles Smile

Hmm... So what do I do when I get bored?

Aside from going out and taking pictures, writing in the blog, and going to Margaritaville for a meal, I like to go out in the desert with my collection for some fun Wink

Left to right: Yugo M70-AB1 sporter (civilian semi-auto AK), Marlin Model 60 .22, Swiss K31 carbine, Hi-Point C9, Steyr M95, Mosin Nagant 91/30 (1928), Mosin Nagant M44 (1946)

My most recent addition - Heritage Rough Rider .22 single action revolver

Yours truly with the M95 in the desert

Of course, I also like to go for drives in my HHR Mr. Green

HHR at the infamous "Black Mailbox" near Area 51

The sign tells you where this was taken

You've just gotta love "Middle of Nowhere, NV" Razz

Yes, it does snow in Vegas Shocked

I too was in Vegas when it snowed, it really Christmas morning of 1990, we could not believe it, it was amazing (of course it did not last longer then a couple of hours but Mt Charlie was great for tubing that day).

WoW quite the collection of weapons, if the S#it ever hits the fan, I'm coming to your area for protection, damn brother - outstanding collection, I like them all - ya the man - thanks for the kudos on the "rides", I am considering selling the Saab for aPorsche 911 (again) but I know the wife will be PISSED.

Wait a sec...That's SNOW!...In VEGAS! Shocked

The road past the Extraterrestrial Highway sign sorta looks like the middle of Iraq. I'm betting that around the middle of summer it's the same temperature too!

Lucky for me, I live within a few minutes of the Atlantic. What do I do when I'm bored? I hit the beach, get some sun, and chase the bikinis walking by. I also run a lot. There's a 5 or 10K somewhere, and I try to be in it when I find one.

However, as much as I love running, good looking girls in bikinis definitely take priority!

Sometimes you just have to stop and Smile while enjoying being above ground, nothing like a woman in a ......bikini or dental floss

Oh yeah, the Cayman is freakin sweet. I checked one out last month at Porsche of Charleston. One of these days...and probably sooner than I think. We'll see what Santa and TC can put together.
