It might be a great way to help promote the new aircraft...slide show to follow, I think the paint would do well on this craft

Very Good Paint JOB! Very expensive aerobatic formation team.

Agreed but the promotion for it supported by eight co-funding nations would reap sale benefits I bet and the public would love it - least I think so

Would still be a few years down the road, still have to show the USAF how to maintain them and get some pilots qualified to fly them, right now the only pilots we have are test pilots.

Nice slideshow. I did like white color on the F-35.

In the slides there is a number (''5'') which is written upside down. Do T-Birds have their a/c numbers written on them?

Yes, Five (5) is upside down because of the inverted performance it provides during the show numerous times

Wow... didn't know it, thank you.

And... ''What if, the Thunderbirds used the F-22''
The Raptor may have a mirrored number on it. :P

Maybe the AF will buy a few B models.. that lift fan should make for some very interesting shows.

Now that would be amazing, that would be worth the effort but I dont think it will happen, maybe in a single ship take off for an Airshow...I'd like to see that myself one day...Maybe the marines will want some "show and tell" in the future....one can only hope :-)

Absolutely amazing and I wish it would happen 8) Can you imagine the thunder if they put all six jets in max blower at once

Now, the mix of models would go best in the Blue Angels with the diamond and one of the solos in C models with the other solo in the B model IMHO
No plane on Sunday, maybe be one come Monday...

Agreed, nice to dream isn't it :-)

Not only that, but all uniforms (i.e. Lead solo) and the support equipment (e.g. tool boxes) all exhibit the same inverted "5"
