Hi
I have seen a lot of shots of F-16D variants with CFT fitted.
However I have only seen Greek F-16C aircraft with the CFT fitted. I understand it gives them enough range to cover Cyprus.
Have any other nation got the CFT and used on the F-16C. For instance have the Polish F-16C been fitted with a CFT to date.
Thanks,
Richard |

| Oman has CFT's for both models and has flown with them. The crews like them (range and no G limit) and I personally think it makes the jets look meaner. |

| Great shots! So Greece, Oman and Poland use the CFT on the F-16C block 52 variants. Thanks. |

| So how do you get the gun hold back tool installed or uninstalled if the CFTs are on? is there and access through the tank? |

| Why don't any of the U.S. planes fly with CFTs? |

If you look at the photograph in the link you will see a dark panel which has quick release thumb latches and gives the weapons troop access to the gun. The panel looks dark because it is made of a mesh screen material to allow gun gasses to escape. Prior to installing a CFT the gun access door is actually removed. http://www.jetphotos.net/viewphoto.php?id=6330323 |

| I think a D/E model viper with CFT and ECM suite backbone looks like a big ugly truck! |

| There is something about the C/D/E with spine, CFT, wing tanks and full LANTIRN suite, plus GBU's. Couldn't be further from a lightweight fighter if you tried! |
