Does anybody remember these? Do any units out there still wear them? There at least used to be Party Suit parties, where you wore a non-regulation flight suit (usually cotton), with a non-reg color (have seen all kinds).
Does anybody still do this? I know at least in the airlift side of the house, we don't. Of course, we don't do a lot of the things that the fighter guys do (which p!$$es me off). |

Good to hear that somebody's still doing it. I guess that stateside, it's hard to do a lot of things, due to the fact that the Clubs all pretty much suck these days...but that's an issue for a completely different thread.
Does anyone out there have a party suit? Still wear it? Have pics from back in the day? If so, please post! |

| Need to call out to the Specter folks from the 16th Special Ops. Now those AC-130 pukes had some outlandish party suits. I remember a lull in the ops tempo at Ubon when all the Specter boys came out to play dressed in all of their finery. Party suits in unit colors, chromed bullets in bandeleros belts 'round their waists and cross their chests. They made all the Phantom drivers look naked. Gawd, lost count of the number of fights in all the clubs that night. |

| Definitely still the standard in Korea. I also have one from my recent time with the 34th FS at Hill. We wore them for namings in the squadron bar and occasionally to the club. |

| Korea is definitely the prime place for Party Suit parties, toga parties (unofficial, of course), and virtually any other kind of party. Man, if only the stateside clubs could be like Korea's clubs. Ours are more like Heaven's waiting room...the dance of the dead. Nothing but geezers and battle axes. A good reason why I cancelled my membership... |

| I know this is an old thread but does anybody know of any websites or have any contacts to get party suits? Trying to bring back some tradition! |
