| aha! I have got Vingtor decals also, but they are "early versions", with only 300 mm roundels. sheet # 48-101. Do you remember what number the decals you used had? |

| I wondered if you have heard from the seller? I am really eager to get my hands on the "new" generic norwegian squadron markings.... the flag colored one.. |

Hi Dani - yes, it is the 1/48 Tamiya F-16C converted to an AM.
I used the tailbase from Wolfpack, and on my photobucket page you can see pictures of how I measured it up and joined them to make the tail.
The opening from the -C was covered with sheet styreene and sanded to shape. Think I got it a little high at the end, towards the tailpipe, but wouldn't change it now.
Actually soon to start another one - filling the tailbaseopening with putty this time, to see if it is possible to get the parachute a bit further down to correct the angle.
Decals are a mix from various places, but Vingtor is the best aftermarket. www.vingtor.net Actually need some more decals from Vingtor come to thing about it.... |
