Close look at the side of nozzle - at the "V" of the speed brake - looks like a steady stream of smoke from the nacelle's ejector area. Once it hits the slip stream it expands in the partial vacuum created behind the engine = looking alot bigger. Internal oil failure could cause smoke in the bleed air - thus smoke from that area.
Just my 2 cents evaluation - also it looks like a dark spot at the trailing edge of the wing about where the pivot would be, so without magnification, I'd say its there. |
