I've heard rumors of the DoD not allowing export sales of the F-15SE sue to the RCS being approx 80% lower than a standard Eagle. Anyone able to confirm it?

That really does not make sense, given that the F-35 (which has much less than 80% of a standard Eagle's RCS) is for export.

on the contrary, the foreign sale of SE is supported and encouraged from the pentagone to persuade some allies not to ask after F-22/35

The Mud Hen is an amazing aircraft, I enjoyed being part of the Conversion 492nd FS Team (from F-111's to F-15E's) in 1992 and later I was selected as the Maintenance Superintendent of the 492nd FS, the aircraft was amazing, we were the first USAFE Squadron to drop bombs (under NATO direction) in November 1994, a PROUD moment for us supporting the No Fly Zone over Bosnia

wonder why GD/Convair didn’t resurrect the F-106, give it fly by wire, update the avionics, new more powerful engine, eliminate the vertical tail, give it some “Special Coatings” and market it as the new stealth dart!!! Oh wait nobody overseas purchased the 106, dang, ok ok, how about a super zipper with an F-404 power-plant, AESA radar, Hmmm don’t know how you could conformal carry anything on the 104 though *L* Ok ok, what about a Super 101!!! Pop in a couple of F-110s AESA radar, some “Special coatings’ and kapow you got your raptor killer *L* Don’t get me wrong i love the F-15, i actually cut my teeth on them, and other body parts.. but trying to reduce the RCS on a 15 is kind of funny, like that old book "Flight of the old Dog" where they turn a B-52 into a Stealth bomber. *L*
