My latest F-16C, Tamiya 1:48, Small mouth Block 30, 527th AGRS, RAF Bentwaters, Suffolk, 1989. Paint is Xtracolor, decals are mix of Xtra and Italeri stencils.
I will add more as they are completed. |

| Latest off my production line. Block 30 C 93FS Florida Makos. Viper experts will notice a couple of inaccuracies in that it is carrying superscale decals for the A model 482FW flagship, so a bit of cutting around to make a block 30 C line aircraft. Also has full reinforcement plates, which i don't think 30's have (correct me if i'm wrong). Enjoy. |

| You're quite right, Block 30s do not have all 12 scab plates. They only have the two lawnmower blades near the tailbase, and the two win plates. But otherwise, tip top! |

| Hehe, Habu, your 'do your homework' tag line seems very accurate in this case! Note to self - must try harder!! I never understand that, if they carry same ordnance and have higher airframe hours i would expect them to be there though. Anyone know reason for absence, please? |

| It's on an almost individual basis. Most have gone through an upgrade program, and some of the Blocks were deemed to need only need certain plates. Some even have custom plates that others don't. This is rare though, not the majority. In the case of the Block 40s, they were designed to carry heavy ordnance most of the time, and always have, so they needed all of the plates. |

| Excellent pilot and interior! They must be aftermarket-from where? Your paint on the pilots looks real, I want to have mine look that good when I grow up! |

Cheers, Proudpop.
The pilot is Tamiya kit figure with wire for combat edge hose and elastic rod for oxygen hose. Kit cockpit is used with Aires instrument panel and shroud, Eduard etch metal for canopy hooks, handles etc. The seat is Aires too. If anyone is interested in the tail pipes, they are eduard etch set weathered with Tamiya pastel sets. |

Two Moos for the Mos-Cow Aggressor!!!
Love the 527th Aggressor as well- I never knew they got any F-16Cs as replacements for their F-5s! |

| They had early block 30s 'borrowed' from other European based squadrons and upgraded from f-5s when the moved from Alconbury to Bentwaters, although only lasted about 5 years before disbanding when the base closed in 1993. A/C were returned to units that donated them. |
