The London (Ontario, Canada) Airshow is this weekend, and as there are always plenty of Vipers on hand, I was wondering if any of the units f-16.net members are assigned to (or the members themselves) will be represented. There should also be an F-16C doing an aerial demo (Block 50 from Shaw IIRC).

Hi Habu, where are you from?
MI ANG were there (107th FS) and the 134th FS from Vermont, but Hill AFB birds were not there (unless they showed up on Sunday that I didn't see). But 2 Shaw vipers were in attendance.
Did you see the single bomb marking on the 107th FS aircraft? |

The guys from Selfridge put on quite a show (for not doing any real aerobatics)! I didn't notice any bomb markings on their vipers, aren't they the unit that was deployed inside Iraq until recently?

I am A crew dawg with the 107th (127th AMXS) and yes there are bomb markings on the aircraft not all the jets went to Iraq. So you may not have seen jets that were there.

The list that I have of F-16's that went to Iraq with the 107th FS are these:
85-1487
85-1491 "City of Detroit"
85-1494 "City of Richmond"
85-1498
85-1499 "Green Island"
85-1501 "Township of .....?"
85-1504 "City of Port Huron" marked: 127 WG
86-0221 "Charter Township of Van Buren"
86-0233 "City of Gibraltar"
86-0235
107th FS aircraft at the 2004 London air show were:
86-0208
85-1504 Marked: 127 WG
I believe this aircraft (85-1504) had a single bomb marking just under the canopy. It can be seen a little bit in this photo from the air show:

A/C 504 had a rough time in Iraq. If I remember correctly she only fly about 20 sometime flights due to a dual gen. failure. That could be the reason for the single bomb marking, but this doesn't mean that the other 107th jets aren't littered with stickers(gun's, GBU-12, and JDAM.)
