Aloha everyone! Retired F-16 Crew Dawg here. Retired just over a year ago (Took time off to finally spend enjoyable time with my Wife and Kids!). First assignment was Spangdahlem at the 7023 AMU Fighting Hawks which in a month all became the 23rd Fighter Sqdrn. Of course like every new airman, started out doing detail work since Spang was 125% over manned at the time (I'm sure some peeps can relate). Nothing like mowing grass around HAS's that's 3 feet high! And painting lines inside the shelter! Did EOR on F-4's and F-16's.. I spent 3/4's of my time TDY from spang. Did Luke at the 311th, then went to the 62nd. From there, Highway road to the ROK. Spent time at the 80th and got lucky (haha) to come back to Luke. I loved the job no matter where I was at! Give me a tent or a crack house. I do miss the food! I can go for a Adana Kabab, or Cat on a stick LOL! Anyways Aloha everyone!
