| Anyone know of positions open for recently separated 7lvl Avionics troops (13 yr TSgt)? Looking to get back on the jet but not looking to go to the middle east. The wife is commissioned and I would like the opportunity to follow her around (she's munitions maint). I'm thinking maybe an AFETS position...hopefully Shaw has an opening. Anyway, if someone has something of interest and can point me in the right direction, that would be great. I absolutely miss aircraft. Working radios the rest of my life just won't cut it! |

| We are looking to fill a position in AIS here at Nellis. You might also want to check out some of the contractors at Creech AFB. Most of the contractors there support the UAV's. Those contractors are always looking for Avionics troops. They deploy, but pay really well. |

We will have two Avionics openings here at the 149th posted soon. They are WG-13, starts at $22.59 per hour. WG-13 requires 18 months experience, if you don't have that they will classify you to decide what pay grade you would be.
These are excepted civil service positions, which mean you have to be eligable and hold a corresponding military position in the Air National Guard.
Here is the website.

Go to the USAjobs website and type in 1670 for the series input. You should see all AFETS (Equipment Specialist) openings. |

There are always openings with the ART program.
Air Reserve Technician.
Get in. Get your Federal Time. Then try for a straight Federal postion.
Also Edwards is always hiring. |
