This pic I took of an aircraft I thought was of a UH-60 but then I took a look at an Mi-8 pic that I have from my personal collection and it seems that this is an Mi-8, but I need an expert's opinion, so what do you say?

| its certainly not a Hip, as they have a five blade main rotor, the exhaust are too far back on the body and the stabilizer are too large for the hips too. |

| I don't believe it's a either of the choices. Look at the tail wheel. It's halfway to the fuselage. It's a Seahawk. HH-60 if you didn't know. Basically it's a Navalised Blackhawk. The reason the tail wheel is so far forward is to allow the tail to be folded forward for stowage. Also the rotors automatically fold. At least that's my take on the picture. Habu(2), Gums, your expert opinions? |

| I'd go with the HH-60 as well. |

sorry to be picky, but I reckon it's an SH-60.
The white scheme is common on the SH, but on the HH, the only one I've seen is the US coast guard (orange stripes-white fuselage.)
Non the less, it's pretty much the same aircraft exempt a few mods. |

| I just looked it up and the USN does operate HH-60H Seahawks(SAR) as well as the SH-60F(OTH targeting/ASW) variants and the USCG flys HH-60J Jayhawk. It looks like a toss up between SH-60 and HH-60. Take your pick I guess. Is there any way to tell which country it belongs to? |

The aircraft is an EAF aircraft and EAF don't operate HH-60s or SH-60s
I forgot to saw that, but the aircraft is indeed a H-60? |

Close yet so far away. The pic is indeed a seahawk. However, the tail wheel is moved forward so the tail can hang off a ship and free up more room on the flight deck. All h-60 variants have the ability to fold the tail forward for storage or shipment as the tail wheel is located just forward of the fold point. I am a prior USAF HH-60G Pavehawk before being blessed and cross training to the viper. |

| To end all thoughts, I took the pic to Air Force Personnel, through links thanks to my father, I had the date and location where I took the pic, and they confirmed what I thought of, it's an EAF UH-60L Black Hawk, NOT an Mi-8. and also I asked about if there is any SH-60s in Egypt. There aren't! |
