Can anyone identify the serials of the 4 F-22s received by Holloman this week. Need to get the database updated to show the 3 birds that came from Elmendorf and singleton from Hill

Hi guys !

Thanks for these updates ...
Just a question : why transfering ex AK and not giving 49th FW new birds ?
I' m still thinking : RAPTORS for 18th and 48th, not for 49th ...

Simple, you reduce the number of jets in one wing/squadron in order to source planes for a new one starting up.

Benefit is that you get the initial training started early, and as new planes comes along you just add to those already there, both for the new unit and the donor unit.

And offcourse you get the PR aspect aswell, always good to present to the public and your own troops that things are on schedule Wink

Hi,

according to SCRAMBLE.nl, 05-4105 would be the third bird from ELMENDORF ...

05-4105 is another one. Pictures should be on Holloman's website this week. 4084 I've seen personally when it landed here and 4092 was in the paper.

Why do they say from Hill AFB when no F-22s are based there?

Currently we show her last record as to have been with 90th FS. If she went to depot, when did she go? Dec 19th must be her delivery date to Holloman.

USAF F-22A block 30 no. 05-4089 Raptor from 7th FS is seen taxiing at Holloman AFB, New Mexico on December 19th, 2008.

USAF F-22A block 30 no. 05-4089 Raptor from 7th FS arrives in hanger at Holloman AFB, New Mexico on December 19, 2008.

The depot plane was the last one to arrive and it already had the HO tailcode, not sure when it went to depot or long it was there. The 3 from Elmo still had AK tailcodes.
