Looks like two different types of impact.
From the debris field in the pictures, the top one looks like a high speed impact following an in flight incident (midair or in flight structural failure); the second looks like a ground strike during a low pass or possibly a birdstrike during a low level, interesting in the second one that the seat appears to have been used. Both aircraft from the 59th TFW? |

I wonder what happened to 02 that the engine(s) flamed up like that- looked like the whole butt was on fire!
It lawn darted pretty good though, looks like it even put out its own fire. One puff of smoke from the impact and that was it for the video.
Bummer, hope both pilots were ok after ejecting. Stoli toasts(no pun intended) will be in order tomorrow.  |
