Extra info on that?
Maybe stored after recieving the MLU-update awayting possible sale, reserve for spare parts or storing in flying condition as a back-up?
Isn't this one of the B's sold to Jordan?
By the way, less than a month ago 4 extra ex-Belgian F-16's were delivered to Jordan including ex FB-01. (F-16BM)
This bird should be in our "Royal Museum of the Army and Military History" in Brussels, being the first European F-16, an thus the first non-US F-16 ever.
It's such a terrible shame. |

| That would not be her "first flight in four years". As you would not perform a FCF with someone in the back seat. |

The info about J-267 came from de site [Link pending approval]
What i know is that i was there when the bird was [Link pending approval]
In the database [Link pending approval] is written (To be delivered to Jordan in 2007)...
NOT [Link pending approval]
Thats the reason i put here the [Link pending approval] still in VOLKEL.

I know this thread is primarily about the aircraft, but for what it's worth......
I have flown a couple of times in the back-seat of B models on FCF's on days when I had nothing else to do. That was a while ago. It was OK then.
I would think particularly with a two-seat aircraft that hadn't flown for 4 years, you might want in-flight functionality checks of everything in the back seat also. Specifically the flight controls, the overrides and whatever other instructor stuff. Maybe two FCF guys? Just guessing, I don't really know.

| We did two-pilot FCFs with our D-model. How else are you going to check back seat instrumentation/controls? |
