Now, I wouldn't be opposed to doing that with Vodka or Everclear
Bad Vodka wouldn't be a bad idea. Save the Stoli for my martini though!
As for Everclear?...Great band, but a lousy drink. In fact, I'm listening to "Volvo Driving Soccer Mom" as we speak. I just hope that song is NOT about the future Mrs. TC, whomever she may be. |

Agreed - the Stoli stays in the martini At least you're not pouring on your cornflakes like some people I've known in the past |

Stolichnaya, like any Russian vodka, is a terrible thing to waste.
Just enjoy it responsibly. |

Ok Parrothead, what I meant to say was use it to run a leaf blower.
Of course, it would be entertaining to buy some POS like a 1984 Plymouth Grand Fury, or an 81 Dodge St. Regis (T.J. Hooker, anyone? ), pour Jeremiah Weed or even Everclear into the tank, and (if you don't blow out the injector manifold) drive it around a sandlot, not giving a d@mn what you run into.
Man this brings back memories, back when the years started with 197? I had a 1959 Ford Anglia Delux (It was delux because it came in two colors and more chrome) which was tricolor, red, white and rust.
The engine had burnt valves and the thing was just about dead so we put 100/130 Avgas (the green stuff) into the tank to see what would happen. Well the lead helped out the valves and after a little while it ran a little better than it did on regular gas. An added bonus was that the carb got a great de-varnish job.
Then being engineers we started to tweak the motor and put larger jets into the carb to compensate for the lower density of the Avgas. That took about a couple of seconds off the zero to sixty time and gave the little beast some decent street performance.
Got out of a speeding ticket in court one day, I was tagged for going seventy in a fifty zone, the magistrate explaine to the radar operator that his equipment must be faulty because he had one of these cars and had never gotten it up to seventy far less kept it there going uphill.
The beast finally died when we found out that Avgas dilutes regular auto engine oil, and, at a certain mixture it will ignite; it did, the car was toast. |

I should've done that with the 1994 Mercury Topaz that I used to own. We bought that sh!t bird brand new, and after I got my license, I started to drive it for school and what-not.
It could go from 0 to 60 in 12.2 hours, and it was built very shoddily. Virtually everything except for the engine was replaced at least once, including the transmission, which blew out twice.
After the last tranny issue, I parked it. After I reenlisted, the folks did me a favor, and sold it to a friend who apparently turned it into his "Cann bird".
I'm just sorry that it didn't last long enough for me to shoot. Back when I was still living at home, I had seriously contemplated a plan, which would've had me tow it to the woods, where I would've turned the car on, placed an accelerator ignition source near the gas tank, and proceed to empty my AK-47 on that POS. |

Wonderful thoughts - firearms, ammunition, and something inanimate which needs to be destroyed
Now if I could only get my work computer out in the desert... |
