It's a tough choice, but I think the F-5 is leading the pack for me - small, light, supersonic, and economically feasible as well. Of course, I could live with a Spitfire, Mustang, or Lightning, too
So what would you want? |

Nice list there! I think I should clarify a bit about what I meant about "on the market." I just mean one that's available to be sold to the public. Folland Gnats and MiG-21s would fall into this category, F-22s and A-10s wouldn't Basically, there doesn't have to be an active for sale ad.
Ya know, a Kfir might be a nice addition to the hangar... |

| Obviously I'd buy one the (my) F-111Gs back from the Aussies before they scrap them. I think they're asking $1m each and there's a 'grassroots' campaign to raise money to save as many as they can. |
