September 22 issue of Aviation Week says on page 23 that, "AA-1 is to deploy from Fort Worth to Edwards AFB, Calif., late this week for engine air-start testing and noise measurements".
Did it go? |

| As of Thursday the 25 Sep AA-1 was still in Fort Worth, I don't know if it left on Friday or not , I did a JOAP sample from the engine, from the flight on Thursday on Friday, it was suppose to have went to Edwards earlier in the week. |

| Suppose is a key word … due to high fuel prices, flatbeds are hard to book these days. |

Why not just fly it? They've done some aerial refueling already haven't they? |

It had done some tanker work previously, but had not checked all the boxes to be fully "qual"-ed. The ED tanker was back in Ft. Worth this last week to finish that up.
The ferry flight should happen this coming week, but the schedule is event, not calender driven.... |

Yup ... P&S and Pro-Supers will have fun tying to plug this jet into the flying schedule. |
