| Anyone have any thoughts about this? I'm not one to judge right off the bat, unlike every single news channel out there, but it seems kinda odd to pick a 1st term Gov. from a state with less population than Rhode Island. :/ |

| Also seems strange to pick a first term senator from Illinois that has only spent 137 days actually serving in the senate to be you presidential nominee. |

I think it's a great choice! She had the stones to take on Ted "Bridge To Nowhere" Stevens...and win FCOL! Personally I find it laughable to argue that she's not "experienced" enough just 'cause she hasn't been inside the DC Beltway her whole career (cough..cough..Joe Biden...cough... ). Was Billy Jeff Clinton as "experienced" in '92? She has the real world experience of bein' a wife, mother, and state executive (translation: everyday decision maker). Maybe that's the kinda "experience" that's needed in DC today. I know...I know...McCain would be the POTUS, but her counsel would be taken into consideration, I'm sure.
And wouldn't you have LOVED to be a fly on the wall at Hill's place when Palin was announced?! Upstaged by the "other woman" again!!
I just hope she and her family will hold up under the withering scrutiny & hatred that's already started, not just from the Drive-By Media but also from the web nuts on the other side. |

| The one thing that really bothers me is what everyone considers as "experience". Everyone in this country is so media absorbed that they think someone needs to have a Harvard law degree, come from an extremely rich family or be a career politician to be president. Last time I checked, all you need to qualify to be president is be 35 y/o at the time of entering office and be born as an American citizen. Granted, taking the presidential office isn't for just anyone, but I'd guarantee that Palin or Obama has more than enough experience to take the positions they're running for. |

She's a hunter, a shooter, mother, and supporter of the troops overseas. From what I've heard, she's also a pilot, but that's unconfirmed. She's taken on corruption in her own party and won.
I like this so far |

Someone asked her recently about her debate prep and how she'd address concerns about how she'd do 1v1 against Biden. Her answer?:
"What's the difference between a Soccer Mom and a Pit Bull?...Lipstick" |

lol..besides, I'm not sure how popular soccer is up in Alaska! I think all things considered, she delivered a pretty decent speech last night. Biden said that there wasn't any substance in the speech...as if ANYTHING Obama and himself (or the entire democratic party for that matter) had said have made a drastic impact. |

I'm late but I say great choice! Has definately re-energized me, especially after seeing her speech at the RNC.
Plus she hunts, loves guns, is an outdoorsman, and is HOT! |
