Hi
Morocco is buying 24 new f-16 c/d block 52+ at same time its buying 30 AIM-120C-5 and 60 AIM-9M sidewinder and other bombs kits ,my question is why 30 and 60 missiles for 24 jets ?
Unless Morocco is buying different missiles from another country.

They're for training.
30 weapons is ok for the single Libian fighter that strays into their airspace.
When the real shooting war hits, they expect to be in joint operations with the North African equivalent of NATO, and Uncle Sugar will provide their ordnance for them.
