Oh wow, that is a different concept. Very interesting. So it can "coast" until acquisition, then lay on the gas for terminal guidance.
That is something which the Meteor is supposed to do as well, but there is a difference. The Meteor uses a variable duct ramjet which burns for 30-120 seconds. Thrust is regulated according the needs and reserves are saved for the end game.

Always thought Meteor flew more of a cruise profile rather than a semi-ballistic trajectory.
