No matter what your position, unless you're being hired into a management job, you all get the same.

Net is about 70-73,000 a year with a bonus at the end of the year and a new furnished apt. is provided; utilities such as elect. water/gas are paid for by the company; cable, internet. etc. are paid by the employee and it's not cheap. I'm getting basic cable with a few movies for 71USD a mth and I'm getting the mid range internet connection for about 80USD a mth. The apartments are beautiful, but the drive in every morning from Al Ain can take up to one hour and twenty minutes(One-way) Groceries work out to be about the same as you would pay in the states;gas is about 1.29 a gallon right now; in some areas it's as low as 1.15 a gallon. The gas is cheap, but when the time comes for you to rent your own car, you'll pay at least 600USD a month. The gas is cheap, but you'll be at the station filling up a l ot with that long drive to and from work.

You won't have a lot of time to get your affairs in ordfer when the offer letter comes, so if you think you have a good chance of getting hired, start making preparations before hand, i. e. house, apt., vehicles, bank accounts, family notifications, children and passports. I had only 12 days to get all of my affairs in order before I arrived in the UAE.

I am working for the Royal Saudi Airforce since 2002 as a life support (survival equipment technician) parachute specialist. Experience on the F-16 and F-15C, D and my qualification is basic life saving equipment,advance (diploma of associate engineer,qualifying exam 1,2 &3.) technical instructor course. I am working on this system since 1987. My current contract will expire November this year.

I am looking for and interested to work for uae airforce. I need to know the benefits package when able to get job as one of the above position?
