Hoi,
Great load of Samuri pics Henrik. Love the 14 FS, especially when they still had the Owl from the 432 on them.

Greetings,
Henrik.
Nice shot of 67 (though it's captioned wrong as 85-1557) and pretty much as I remember it. That was the first F-16 I was assigned as ACC. SRA Dean Morgan was the DCC.
I loved that 14th Black and yellow checker board tail band. I hated it when we went to the solid yellow and red (13th) tail bands.

| Yes lots of memories I was there from Dec 86-Dec 89 in the 13th as a Asst CC on 1102 then on 1492. I'll see if I can find all my old pics and scan them lots from our trip to Kunsan in 87 and a few from Clark. Kinda neat after I left the actives and finally went into the Guard fulltime I was working the same jets that were with the 13th now at Selfridge! Too bad to see them all go and A-10's replace them. |

| thanks to all you guys for the pics. I was in the fuel shop in Misawa from 89 to 92. The tails were red and yellow from the 13th and 14th then. The hardened shelters were finished up when I arrived. Brings back memories from a long time ago.Let the pics keep coming. I'm still trying to round mine up. |

A good while back I did a WWW-search for the 432FW, and found this site;

Got a lot of good photos, everything from Alfa through to Blk 50's Charlie/Delta models

Thanks Boman
I sent the operator of that site an email years ago wondering if we could use some of his photos. He has some rare photos of aircraft that have since been written off. I never had a reply maybe for English barrier reasons. If any one knows this photographer, let me know. |
