WOW … this photo speaks a thousand words.

High-speed abort with left main tire failure.

BAK 12 cable bounces and rips left main gear a new *******.

Pilot did an awesome job staying with the jet and keeping it straight.

Attempting a lift on a heavy weight Viper (with little crane) loaded with live 82’s, AIM nine’rs, 370’s, no guide ropes, and incorrect boom length/angle.


Priceless

No pun intended, because I'll be the first to tell you sh*t happens ... especially in the AOR.

I would also like to thank our Viper allies for stepping-up and helping us out on the Global War on Terror. Cheers

It's probably all they got there, getting stuff from Holland would probably close the runway for way to long.
