Join the F-16 community on LinkedIn and connect whith other professionals who are somehow involved with the F-16 jet fighter.

For those of you not familiar with LinkedIn: It's a business-oriented social networking site launched in May 2003 mainly used for professional networking. It currently has more than 20 million registered users, spanning 150 industries.

Joining the F-16 group allows you to establish new business relationships in the within F-16 community.

Note that the network is intended for professionals only so I will review all requests. For all others, there is the F-16.net Facebook group.

We're over 100 members now and every day, new people from the industry <a href="http://www.linkedin.com/e/gis/86947/0D66F34E6806">join</a>.

Since last Friday, LinkedIn also added more functionality to the Groups. One of the most requested feature of them all - Group Discussions.

In addition to discussions, there are three other enhancements to LinkedIn Groups:
  • Group home page: A private space for members on LinkedIn.
  • Enhanced roster: Searchable list of group members.
  • Digest emails: Daily or weekly digests of new discussion topics, which your may choose to receive. LinkedIn will be turning digests on for all current group members shortly but I recommend you setting the frequency of emails to your own preference.
This is truly a step in the right direction for LinkedIn as it adds more social networking elements into its arsenal.

For those who I haven't had the chance to welcome yet... Welcome aboard, strap on your seat-belts and enjoy the ride!
