Luke to change command

The 56th Fighter Wing of Luke Air Force Base will welcome a new commander on July 9th.
Current commander Brig. Gen. Noel T. Jones will be replaced by Col. Kurt F. Neubauer.
Neubauer is currently the commander of the 11th Wing, Bolling Air Force Base, in Washington, D.C. He is a command pilot with more than 3,350 flying hours in the F-16, including combat operations over Iraq.
Jones will be moving on to become the deputy chief, Central Security Service, National Security Agency, Fort George G. Meade, Md.
For the past two years, General Jones has implemented Luke's mission by graduating more than 400 F-16 pilots and 470 crew chiefs annually while deploying mission-ready war fighters. He is a command pilot with more than 3,500 flying hours, including combat sorties over Iraq in Operations Southern Watch, Desert Fox and Iraqi Freedom.
