At Macdill in the 62nd we used to go TDY To NAS Roosevelt Roads, Puerto Rico to go up 4V4 against their Tomcats. We had a 7 to 1 kill rate against the Squids and their "plane captains" and our Crew Dawgs used to get into some heated scuffles in the club! All in good fun, of course!! Wink

There have always been squadron rivalries. More Celebrated on some places than others. Mostly just for fun an never actual anger. In Luke, 310FS and 61FS would do many pranks to each other. People from 308 or 63 would come and steel "Bones" I remember going to work and finding the 61 scale P-47 in a parking spot next to the F-16. Have no idea who put it there but it was very funny. Its was all choked and grounded to. In Osan, F-16 against A-10, mostly just talking trash. There is always the Maintenance side against "noners" "We did the work, so they can get a day off!!"
By the way:I will always be a Top Hat (310FS), Fiend (36FS), Buzzard/Dragon (510FS/31AMXS) Juvat (80AMU)

RNLAF 323 v 322 at Leeuwarden AFB.

323 once stole the 322 squadron mascott and 322 refused to take to the skies for days.

'Freeze' Squadron commander for 322 became squadron commander for 323, made the cross over on a huge drum filled with cow dung that was sprayed over the 322 building.

And, can't remember who did this to who: but one of the two let loose a bunch of wild boar in the others squadron building over the weekend.
