The twin pack that F-18s carry consists of a modified LAU-115 (AIM-7) and two LAU-127s bolted on its sides. The LAU-115 also hold lots of relays that pass launch signals to either of LAU-127s. The whole packet hangs from standard lugs. Additionally the LAU-127s can be replaced with LAU-7s (AIM-9), but this feature has very little value since LAU-127 can be used with AIM-9s (even the nitrogen cooled ones).

Thank you, LAU 127's as you know are rail launched not ejected as some seem to think here.
I wonder if he can ripple fire those things Shocked

I think that the issue whether these AMRAAMs are rail launched or ejected has been laid to rest. No one who has read this post now thinks LAU-127 ejects the missile.

In answer to your question, of course they can be ripple-fired (one after the other). Whether they can be salvoed is another question (fired simultaneously). My guess would be no, not from the same LAU-115 dual station, at least.

Given that it should theoretically be possible for the Viper to haul the LAU-115/LAU-127 combo on stations 3 and 7, any idea why it was never put through seek eagle? Was there never any interest from the USAF or any of the participating air forces?

Well my ripple fire was more joking then serious, but now to get to the seek eagle question. The F-16 uses, as you know, LAU 129’s which though somewhat different inside than the 127 or 128 the mechanics are the same. There are basic wiring connections that are very different, so if you’re going to use the LAU 127 then you need to make so many mods you end up with a 129 anyway. The fleet arm has a completely different roll than the AF, so loading a mass of A/A missiles was never a consideration, different doctrines.
