Interesting question, bpow! But sorry! At least at the moment your question should be better placed to on of our current top topics: Post-BRAC 2005 F-16 line-up, launched by my old friend and F-16.net "hard-worker" Henrik in November, 2006. He did and still does a great job to document at least all BRAC 2005 changes known to the public, supported by eyewitness accounts, some more first-hand info and other help. And I´m sure, if USAF will launch any future BRAC round, Henrik will launch a related new topic.
Are there any USAF or DoD insiders who visit our website and can/will announce any next BRAC round? I´m nearly sure: NO! |

Thanks for Your kind words my old friend J.J.!!
Bpow - regarding a future BRAC there will definately be some, but for now at least not until 2011 where the current one from 2005 runs to.
Greetings,
Henrik. |

Not likely to happen with a Dem in charge. Their platform is our military is too stretched now, not we are fat and happy. Remember it was Rummy who cut us to nothing in 2005. |

You're right. First they'll "unstretch" the military by bringing all the troops home early. Then they'll cut us down to nothing. |

| Mass exodus after the first Gulf War, it was called VSI/SSB, better known as the pink slip era. Lot of guys left for better paying jobs, got tired of the military, or had enough all together. Me, I stayed. I think we should do one more BRAC once and for all, no more active duty, bring all the troops home, everybody go reserves or guard, kinda like Israel... lol! |
