My deepest sympathies to the family and squadron mates of the deceased pilot and all who knew him. My own country lost a Viper some weeks ago. Also that hope his colleague gets back on flying status soon.
Ismail, go for it. Don't let the nay sayers get you down. Prove 'em wrong & make 'em eat their words. BTW, was at the RSAF open house last year & I remember seeing another Melayu F-16 pilot/WSO. So, it would seem that prospects are at least brighter now than they were before.
All the very best of luck & may your dream become reality! |

A pilot doesn't really have to answer this one if he doesn't want to. And maybe I'm taking my thinking too far, but today south of my hometown two F-16's crashed. Which brings me to my question: what does one say when someone says to them "I don't see why anyone wants to do that... it's way too dangerous".

If they have to ask, they don't and probably will never.....understand. It's not something you can really explain with words. |

Probably at Hulman Field in Terre Haute, Indiana. It was posted over on ARC so I'm not really sure. |

| Yeah that is at Hulman. It's a pretty new pic too. I think it is one in the past 6 months. |

| The pic was taken on March 7th,2004 at Hulman IAP,Terre Haute,Indiana.Jake took alot of pics that day,but he ain't a crew chief, just a civilian pilot who takes great pics(darn good modeler also)!I escorted Jake around the flightline that very windy day,I was assigned to 86-0260 for 7 years while she flew with the 181st,very sad to see her gone. |
