| well how fast are you going? What is your approach angle(glideslope)? Do you have brakes and gear extended? |

Hello
I stay with zero angle,i just try to slow down in an straight course but it can't be done.Only if i hit the brakes it slows down a little but if i start to approach for landing the speed goes up , 350-450knots.(I have gear extended)
I wanted to ask how i choose the missile i want from the MFD.I press some buttons there but i can't do it.If you could help with that.
Also, when i use the ccrp for air-ground missiles i can't fire the missile!I press space or button 2 but nothing. If i choose the ccip mode its ok.
Sorry about the questions but i am totally new to this.
And thanks for the answers. |

Wow, slow down, you are indeed new. What version of Falcon 4 is this? That sim is 10 years old now, if you are trying the original, there might be bugs in the sim. You can't have your gear extended at those speeds you mentioned, they will be ripped apart with a loud noise. Please keep in mind, you can't "PLAY" Falcon 4 as an arcade game, it is a realistic sim that requires intermediate military aviation and F-16 knowledge, that is why you have a 500+ page manual in the original version and 700+ page manual in Allied Force.
Hey James, did you have a chance to try out OpenFalcon? We had a change in our forum address. |

Hey Bushmaster,
No, I wont get to try Open Falcon for a few more months. My laptop was too crappy to even run the ORGIONAL Falcon 4.0. My desktop at home though is another story, but I cant find my AF disk, still have my origional though somewhere. Looking forward to it though, I am going through withdrawls from not flying the Falcon. When I get home I will either post or PM you about it. |

Hello
After reading again and again the manual i finally managed to find solution for my problems!I think i got the idea now.
At this moment i am at the training missions about maverick and lgb. When i press 0 to lock the target (and it shows "area") and then i press again 0 (and then shows "point") ,the second time ,the point, goes to another direction from area! So,i can't find my target! What can i do for that?
Thanks! |

What version of Falcon are you flying? RedViper, OpenFalcon, Allied Force?
Sounds like you are breaking lock after you establish lasing. |

Hello
I use allied force.
It says at the manual to press 0 twice.Once for area and other for point.
When i press it the second times ,the cross moves a little further from the point of interest. |

I don't fly Allied Force but I can direct you to a place that has more info. You may also want to try OpenFalcon, our sim models the SNIPER pod.

Try this link. AFAIK, when you start lasing, POINT, it is also possible to do fine tuning in your aim. |
