I suppose it's a camera pod to film the bombs and missiles drop. But this pod is present in airshow too. And I don't understand the role of this camera.
A polyvalent pod to transport a camera or a system to disturb the radar sign?

Camera housing. Note the "ED" on the tail, it's an Edwards test bird. It's filming the weapon release.

Yes I know that this image is a test but I have seen this pod in airshow images. It's a camera too??
