VISTA/F-16 Technician for Calspan
Qualified candidate shall perform on and off aircraft maintenance on the VISTA/F-16 in support of the USAF Test Pilot School at Edwards AFB.
Candidate shall prepare aircraft for and perform scheduled and unscheduled inspections, maintenance and T-2 modifications. Additionally, candidate will troubleshoot, repair, overhaul, modify and test F-16 electrical, avionics, instrumentation and experimental systems, sub-systems, components, and accessories.
Required Experience:
Candidate shall have prior exposure to F-16 block 40 or 50 avionics and flight control system maintenance is strongly desired. A&P license a plus.
Required Education:
Preferred requirements include AAS in Electronics Technology or 4+ years military fighter aircraft maintenance experience.
Additional Requirements:
Qualified respondents must possess US Citizenship; will be subject to a government security investigation. Candidate must also meet eligibility requirements for access to classified/restricted areas, current DOD security clearance a plus.
