| How about a couple hush house runs in full burner with the house lights off. Looks pretty spectacular. You can count the shock-cones in the blue flame. Much better looking burner than a -129. |

| Great pic, T! Thanks, sir. I'm curious though, from what I can interpret from this closer inspection, if this flare distribution is better vs manpad or maybe vs a head-on IIR launched threat, than it is vs a rear-on IIR launched threat? I guess what would be really neat to see, would possibly be the directional flare popping seen above, as well as simultaneous upward ejecting flare popping from pods or extended tail, etc? I could be totally wrong on this, it's just my gut feeling. Or maybe some sort of next-gen spine mounted vertical flare laucher system as well? Respects- |
