Could just be political maneuvering or a real plan...who knows? You have to love rumors!

They have been talking about the Block-40s of the 36th FS of the Osan AB based 51st FW.

Its going to be a long, long time before they actually go through with anything. You can bet the Koreans are going to fight the move if it does happen.

Future BRACs will dictate overseas assignments will be a thing of the past... the Army is already pulling out of Europe, Ft. Bliss, Ft. Sill, and Ft. Hood are taking the brunt of population growth from soldiers coming back home. AF will follow soon... I hope!

Hey raptor,I feeel your pain... I was stationedd overseas also for many years, but it finally dawned on these political f#^%ups that keeping and maintaining overseas bases is expensive, and since our country is broke, might as well. The host countries pay a very small percentage on keeping bases overseas. We oughtta collect up the monies from these thirld world countries that owe us money so that we can pay china back of all the billions we've borrowed. Tell me if I'm wrong...
