I'm new to the forum and wanted to introduce myself. I'm a retired Air Force maintainer with both enlisted and officer experience. Currently working as a defense contractor.
Does anyone have any history regarding the 16th AMU at Hill AFB when they first received the F-16 in 79? That was my first F-16 AMU (I was there from early 84 to 85 when they deactivated the 16th) and it was a great one!
I look forward to discussing various items with everyone. Great to be hear.....

Sorry, no info on the 16 AMU but I know there are quite a few crew chiefs and maintainers on this forum that would probably love to hear hour thoughts after you went from enlisted to an officer. Let us know if the scar is still present from the lobotomy. Probably faded right after you retired.
