This sounded promising a year ago when this thread started, what happened?

Apparently, 7 of those 12 were against it. It was a majority thing...

Also, anti-Semitism is not to be tolerated. Period.

Just because Jews are behind corporate fascist activity, doesn't mean that all Jews sponsor it behind the scenes or not.

You might want to re-think the logic of the above statements.

Dude - that sounds like a dialogue from South Park

And exactly how would that be accomplished?

From the news I've seen, I think Canada, Montana, and the Dakotas are going to be where the next big strikes are.

You want some long term energy needs:
Here's a better idea:
Force Michael Moore to run on an exercise bike hooked up to a generator, don't let him stop until he's thin enough to walk around without causing earthquakes.

Meh, should work for a good two to three years.

And how many gigawatts of electricity would Michael Moore generate from an exercise bike power generator?

I'm not saying he'd be able to power SoCal, but he'd be able to power a couple of rooms, you'd also have to outfit him with a gizmo to get hydropower from all his sweat, that'd increase his power output by about half.

Instead of the hydrocarbons of fossil fuels, what about switchgrass? I heard on 60 Minutes about how it supposedly has much more energy potential than corn and it grows crazy from Canada to Mexico.

It's either we start getting biofuels or we all start driving blue freaking Priuses with less muscle than Mary-Kate Olsen: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=qP-tyvBGla4 yes it's the same video from the Pontiac thread, meh, it fits both topics perfectly.

Native prairie grasses make a LOT more sense than corn, corn is a fussy, water intensive crop to grow. I think the problem is that there isn't an industrial sized cellulosic ethanol process developed yet. They're certainly working on it though.
