| No matter how hard I try I can't find much info or pics on the old Crew Chief Training Squadron I graduated from. I musta been one of the last classes before it was changed over to new numbers units. Sad to see things like that go. Same thing with the 3708 BMTS, not many pics or much info. |

I'm pretty sure I was in the 3761st at Sheppard in 86. I guess I never tried searching for anything about it.
Basic I was in the 3702...Second to none! (think it's like the 322nd now or something).
And interesting to me at least, the newest 37th Training Wing or whatever it is now that's over all military training now uses my old 37TFW patch that I wore while an F-4G Wild Weasel Crew Chief. The 37TFW was reassigned to the "new" F-117 squadron in the late 80s, and then to the Training Wing at Lackland where it is now. |

Indeed, no such luck. I was in the 3761st till Aug 90. As I recall the commander of the 61st was very easy going. I was in the last F-4 class at Sheppard with 2 guys from 117th TRW. Looking back there are fond memories but pretty much sucked at the time.
On Lackland's web page there are BMT pix from the 40's thru 2000. That is about it. (few of 3708) |

| I went through F-4 school at Sheppard in July-Sept. 1992, so yours must not have been the last class. There was only 2 of us in the class, me and a guy from the Boise Air Guard. |

| I was in the 3761st from Sep-Nov 91 so he wasn't the last, I figured I was at least close to last the way I was seeing things. I just asume with such a long history the 3761st STUS and the 3708th BMTS would have more pics and info on the web out there somewhere. |
