55th Fighter Squadron "Fightin' Fifty Fifth" , 2002 - 2004
This was the 3rd time in my F-16 career that I was the 1st crew chief on a jet...Now this jet started off in a bad way when it arrived at Shaw...it sat on the ground for 4 months while we had to change the right wing...because sheet metal was fixing rivets because of fuel leaks and punch a rivet thru the station 7 wiring conduit which by the way runs thru the right wing fuel cell...After all was said and done...it Flew Code 1 after being down for nearly 5 months...
