Comments:
While attempting to land during bad weather, the aircraft crashed into the landing lights for the runway. The pilot was returning from a routine exercise over Jakarta. The mishap took place at Jakarta/Halim AB at 13:30 hours. The pilot, Captain Dwi Sasongko of the demonstration team ‘Blue Eagle’, was killed. There were two Indonesian F-16's lost in two days
