Comments:
Forward fuselage was separated at bulkhead 243.00 and installed in place of the crash damaged forward fuselage on aircraft #86-0242. The aft fuselage section was removed and installed on aircraft #85-1444. Bulkhead 243.00 is located just aft of the canopy. Parts of it where also used to repair airframe #84-1217. This work was done by the 649th Combat Logistics Support Squadron at Hill AFB, Utah.
