With conversion to MLU standards at the Lockheed-Martin facility, it was accidentally sprayed in the standard USAF grey scheme instead of the high gloss light grey Norwegian scheme. It also wore an MLU logo on the tail.

Anniversary markings for 10 years of F-16 service in the RTAF. The letters KRT on the base of the tail stand for 'Khorat' AB.

Markings were applied just after delivery. 79th Anniversary, 1918-1997 as marked by the 79th Fighter Squadron.

Special markings for USAF's 50th in 1997 and to commemorate the Tuskegee Airmen. The tail was painted bright red. Intake also had bright paint. The name "By ReQuest" was on the commanders P-51 in WWII. Red tail markings were applied again in 2006 to this aircraft.
