US offers 12 F-16s to Mexico

The U.S. goverment offered 12 F-16 MLU (10 F-16A/2 F-16B) to Mexico to replace the 8 F-5Es and 2 F-5Fs currently in service with the Mexican Air Force.
They also offer spare engines, Mavericks, LGBs and conventional bombs at the cost of 1 billion US dollar. The Mexican Air Force is currently evaluating the offer.
Mexico also had an offer from Belarus to buy 20 Mig-29s at about half that price.
