Thai F-16 skids off taxiway at Korat

A Thai Air Force F-16 from 102 Squadron skidded off a taxiway and crashed into a drainage ditch at Korat Air Base at 13:00h local time today. The pilot ejected and was slightly hurt.
The F-16A ADF suddenly lurched forward almost 100 metres when the engine was started and was idling. The plane slid into the ditch and the pilot successfully ejected from the aircraft.
Officials are investigating the incident.
