December 21, 1999 (by Lieven Dewitte) - Two people were killed on Wednesday when their private plane collided with a Dutch air force F-16 fighter, the Defense Ministry said.
The pilot of the F-16 ejected from the plane and was taken to hospital suffering from burns, the Ministry said in a statement. The cause of the crash was not yet known. No further details were immediately available.
