U.S. Aid To Jordan Expected To Go Up

January 12, 1998 (by Lieven Dewitte) - U.S. military aid to Jordan is expected to go up to $75 million in 1998 from $31 million in 1997, partly to cover the maintenance of 16 F-16 fighter planes the kingdom will get this year -- part of an over $300 million military modernization deal.
