TAI to modernize Jordanian F-16s

The Jordanian Air Force has signed a contract with TUSAS Aerospace Industries Inc. (TAI) to modernize its ageing F-16s. First two jets have been disassembled and are awaiting shipping.
TAI will modernize Jordanian F-16s, sources said today.
The first F-16 will be modernized in October 2007. Meanwhile, 12 planes will be renovated in TAI facilities while another five will be upgraded in Jordan under the supervision of engineers from TAI. Total time for the modernization program being 41 months.
