Nick 'Midas' Anderson joins the 5,000hr club

March 8, 2006 (by Lieven Dewitte) - Lt.Col. Nick 'Midas' Anderson pilot with the 162FW, Tucson Air National Guard, passed the 5,000-hour mark in the F-16 flying a combat mission over Iraq
Midas is with the Arizona ANG, Tucson. He is currently deployed with the 119EFS from the New Jersey ANG, Atlantic City, in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.

Almost exactly four years after passing the 4,000 hour mark, Lt.Col. Nick Anderson now joins a very select club of only two pilots who accumulated more than 5,000 flight hours in the F-16.

USAF pilot Michael J. 'Brillo' Brill was in November 2002 the first to reach that number of hours on the F-16.

F-16.net would like to congratulate Midas for this great achievement.
