Thunderbirds release their 2006 schedule

December 7, 2005 (by Jeff Hollenbeck) - The US Air Force Air Demonstration Squadron, also known as the Thunderbirds has released the schedule for their 2006 show season which includes 65 public shows in 29 states.

The Thunderbirds team includes eight pilots (six demonstration pilots), four support officers, four civilians and about 110 enlisted Airmen.

A Thunderbirds demonstration includes approximately 40 maneuvers in a combination of formation flying and solo maneuvers. The entire Thunderbirds show including the ground and air demonstrations runs for approximately one hour.
